Very comfortable sleep

What a gem ( 5 Stars)
This place is great. Room was luxurious and modern. The rooftop pool was also relaxing after the day. Which i have to say we lucked out in a sort of way. We came (unknowingly) during Songkran. Its basically like Mardi Gras in downtown New Orleans. But, since its the water festival everyone was wet the entire time. Im sure the staff had their hands full with people coming in drenched and having to mop the whole time but they never said anything and always were very pleasant. Do not plan on going out in nice clothes, you WILL get wet. I am very tall (2m) and was met by small boys that resembled the Goonies who where waiting for me every day outside to soak me with water. I only mention this because of the staff who would never say anything to be being soaked everyday. The hotel is within walking distance of pretty much everything. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone!!

De Chai the Deco Chiang Mai is a very fine hotel, it is very close to the Chiang Mai ancient city and convenient to go to many famous scenery. The surrounding outside of the hotel could be better. The breakfast is delicious, but I think it could be more diversiform.

Lovely stay! ( 5 Stars)
Just checked out and already miss it. Pros-Friendly staff, newer small hotel, super clean, gym, small pool and great breakfast selection. Location was great because you are close enough to center to walk and close enough to airport and other locations to catch tuk tuk or rent scooters. Night market, clean massage places close by. All the taxis charged between 100 and 180 for travel to airport, zoo and crossfit box. Breakfast is brought to your room based on your selection the night before or eat downstairs at time you select. Took coffee to go after breakfast on the morning of departure. Staff secured ride to the airport for us. Free bottles of water on the daily. Cons none. We would definitely stay again!

Mooi goed gelegen hotel ( 4 Stars)
Dit is zeker niet het goedkoopste hotel maar het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer is proper, groot en voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Er is een zwembad maar waarschijnlijk ga je dit niet gebruiken omdat er zoveel te doen is in chiang mai. Het ontbijt moet je bijbetalen maar het is zeker zijn geld waard.Wij waren tevreden klanten

Moderní hotel ( 5 Stars)
Hezký moderní hotel v evropském stylu. Všude čisto, výborné snídaně. Kousek pěšky od brány do starého města. Hotel má bazén s terasou. Škoda, že na terase nebyly slunečníky, nebylo se kde schovat před sluncem. Celkově ale doporučuji.

Good value ( 5 Stars)
Throughly enjoy my stay it’s a beautiful hotel with warm staff and a very modern feel.The location was also very convenient and fairly making it easy to get around.Yet it’s the area the hotel is in is still very quiet and peaceful.I would definitely stay here again.

a lovely stay ( 5 Stars)
The room was lovely, clean, bright and spacious. the staff were polite and friendly. The breakfast was good, there wasn't a lot of food available for vegetarians. All the taxi drivers knew were the hotel was situated. The hotel was in a good area which was with in walking distance to all the important experience in Chiangmai

Très très bien !!!! ( 5 Stars)
Hôtel neuf, très propre avec une deco moderne et en même temps atypique !!! La literie est très très bonne ... le personnel est agréable et souriant ....
je recommande cet hôtel en plus très bien situé proche de la vielle ville et des marchés de nuit !!! ( je n’ai fait que des vidéos de la chambre donc je ne peux pas les poster )
Les chambres ressemblent vraiment aux photos que vous voyez sur les sites 👍

Location is perfect for exploring the old city, which is just a quick walk away. Room was large, nicely decorated and comfortable, the aircon could have been quieter, but I don't feel it was bad as other reviewers have said. The free breakfast is on par with other hotels of the same level (good, but not mindblowing). Staff were friendly and helpful. I'll stay here again the next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

Incredible Secret of Chiangmai ( 5 Stars)
My Korean wife and I have eaten here several times during our last ten-day trip to Chiangmai. The food ingredients are so fresh and properly prepared. The proportions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable. Since the restaurant is part of a back ally hotel, the restaurant is almost hidden. So few people are present. The waiting staff are extremely professional. The menu is a mixture of Thai and western. Entrees if both types are excellent. We have sampled many restaurants over the years in Chiangmai and this hidden gem is one of the very best.

Perfect place to stay in Chiang Mai ( 5 Stars)
We booked for 3 nights, but ended up staying for 5. The reception staff were all excellent and helped us arrange some incredible experiences with private drivers to the Highest mountain and the royal palace. Wonderful hospitality. Very very clean too and good food.

Fantastic Hotel ( 5 Stars)
The hotel is beautiful, modern, comfortable and friendly. The rooms are very large and the property itself is stunning. Improvements: The floors in the bedroom need to be mopped more often, my feet were filthy walking around the room. The stand up shower and bathroom sink needs help. Although beautiful, its not practical. You will spill water everywhere. The bowl itself is designed to splatter and the shower leaked water due to the shallow depth. Otherwise, my stay was amazing and the staff was extremely helpful in booking tours and pleasant.

Amazing service, even better breakfast. ( 5 Stars)
De Chai the Deco was absolutely accomodating and customer service-centered to the core. My husband and I ended up staying at DeChai last minute as we were not pleased with our hotel reservation made through Expedia. De Chai turned our sour experience into an absolute delight. They greeted us and upgraded out room for us as we were on our honeymoon. They called places up for us like restaurants, pizza delivery and even dropped off a little welcome cocktail with snacks complimentary for us. Everyone at the Hotel is so friendly. Gym, rooms, pool, lobby everything is well maintained. The front desk staff called taxis for us, provided suggestions and pretty much assisted with anything needed. The breakfast at the hotel was amazing with great selection and we thoroughly enjoyed our eggs. The lady making eggs was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again!

Prima locatie, veel op loopafstand. ( 5 Stars)
Dit hotel met name gekozen voor de ligging. En dat bleek heel goed te zijn. We kwamen aan met de nachttrein uit Bangkok en vanaf het station is het maar een paar kilometer naar het hotel, voor 200 Bath een taxi voor 4 personen en bagage. We waren er vroeg in de ochtend en fijn dat de receptie ervoor zorgde dat we om 11:00 in de kamer konden en tot die tijd konden we de bagage achter laten. Het hotel ligt heel rustig in een zijstraat van de drukke Thapae Road, ga je hier naar rechts dan is er aan de overkant een handige wasserette (4x10 Bath voor wassen en er zijn ook drogers), loop je 10 minuten verder dan ben je al bij de dagelijkse Night Bazar, ga je linksaf dan zit er direct een 7Eleven en een reisbureau,, loop je nog een paar minuten verder dan ga je door de Tha Phae gate de oude stad in waar alles op loopafstand is. Je hebt hier dus eigenlijk geen taxi of Tuktuk nodig. Ben je op zondag in Chiang Mai, bezoek dan de Sunday Night Market, veel leuker dan de Night Bazar. Bekijk de tempels in de oude stad, bezoek een "saddle off" locatie van het Elephant Nature Park en doe een kookcursus. In dit hotel het beste ontbijt tijdens onze rondreis, in de familiekamer 2 fijne slaapkamers en ruime badkamer, fijne airco, iedere dag koekjes/koffie/thee/borden/bestek. Lekker zwembad. In het Engels communiceert het niet zo goed met het personeel, maar daarop is dit hotel geen uitzondering, dat is vrijwel overal. We hebben hier echt een fijn verblijf gehad van 5 nachten. Voor Thaise begrippen uiteraard een duur hotel, maar gemerkt dat het voor ons toch wel fijn is om in een dergelijk hotel te verblijven. Inderdaad, de douche gaat van koud naar heet en weer naar koud, daarover wordt meer geklaagd. Het bad daarentegen is prima. Voor 220 Bath sta je in een kwartiertje bij de luchthaven.

Muy recommendable ( 5 stars)
Hotel céntrico y muy bien situado. Está en una calle muy tranquila por lo que no hay molestias de ruidos. Habitaciones amplias y muy bien equipadas , no les falta de nada. Hotel nuevo y se nota, parece que lo estrenas. La piscina es pequeña pero ya vale para pegarte un chapuzón, si lo que quieres es pasar el rato ya no vale , tiene 4 hamacas y punto. El personal muy atento y siempre sonriente como todo Thailandia. El desayuno lo dejo para el final.. es correcto aunque algo escaso teniendo en cuenta que reparten la oferta entre los chinos, los thais y los occidentales , pero quiero destacar las tortillas que hace la chica de la cocina. Son exquisitas , siempre jugosas y en su punto no falla ni una, es una artista a parte de que siempre está sonriendo y de buen humor, la mejor tortilla que he comido en mucho tiempo.. con empleados como esta chica no me extraña que el hotel funcione tan bien, muchas felicidades

Excellent stay at this hotel! ( 5 stars)
We recently stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom family
rooms. It was very comfortable for a family of 4. The hotel is very clean and modern and in
a great location. Walking distance to the night markets and to the gate to the "Old City".
The room was great and had two comfortable King beds, Robes and slippers and a really nice
bathroom with large shower. The air conditioner was cold and the beds were very
comfortable.
We chose to have breakfast included during our stay - The breakfast buffet was fresh with
traditional western and eastern breakfast offerings.
The front desk staff was very nice and helpful and when they found out it was my Birthday
they surprised me with a cake and delivered it to my room. They recommended and booked for
us a great Elephant Sanctuary for us to visit (Mae Rim Elephant Home) which was the
highlight of our visit to Chiang Mai.

깨끗하고 조용한 숙소, 올드시티 대부분의 장소를 방문하기에 최적의 접근성, 매일 새롭고 매일 맛있는 조식, 친절한 직원분들, 너무 만족한 5일이었습니다. 저녁 늦은 비행기라 하루 숙박비의 반값에 오후 6시 늦은 체크아웃도 하게 되었어요. 다음에 치앙마이 여행을 다시 하게 될 때 또 이곳에 묵을 거예요~!

New, Clean, Stylish, and Walkable to the OId City ( 5 stars)
The location is great - on a quiet side street but just 5 minutes from the gate into the Old City. Staff are friendly and happy to help. When sharing the elevator, one staff even undid his stop so we could get to the lobby first. Now that's great service! The hotel looks quite new and the room is large, sleek, and sparkling clean. 2 bottles of water and 2 packs of cookies were complimentary every day. Sound-proofing was great and my corner room was quiet. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and a 7-11 just down the street.

Favorite stay in Chiang Mai - lovely decor, convenient for walking, loved the bathtub and view from upper floor. Fresh eggs made how you like for bfast, fluffy towels.and pillows, great staff, perfect aircon.and ceiling fan. Even with a city-wide power outage that was brief, the elevator and fan worked on a generator! A notch above the rest in many ways. Enjoyed the pool and gym too.
